Protecting Our Environment

We can all agree: it is imperative that plastic bags are reused, recycled, or disposed of properly. Although plastic bags typically account for minute fractions of waste, litter, and marine debris—one bag in the environment is too may for us.

Many of ARPBA’s members contribute to programs like the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a multinational consortium dedicated to addressing plastic in the environment by developing meaningful and effective solutions.

While the majority of marine debris does not original from the United States, we believe U.S. manufacturers can be leaders in the development of global solutions to make sure plastic is used, reused, recycled, and disposed of properly. We are proud to support initiatives to develop infrastructure, enhance innovation around new technologies, educate stakeholders and consumers, and clean up the environment—without unleashing unintended consequences.
